Week 24: Another Full Week of Miracles!

We missionaries are just so darn blessed!!

Today my companion cut my hair..... and it was interesting but I think it looks great! We cut at least 4 inches off of it. Ha I'm going to try to go the next 11 months without cutting it. we will see how that goes. We used the scissors from the elders hair cutting kit. I cut her hair too and I would say that I did quite a good job!! We couldn't believe that we were cutting hair in France.. what the random.

Soooo the transfer email came!!! I knew I was leaving but I didn't know where too and guess what?? I'M GOING TO MY FIRST PICK...

LUXEMBOURG!!

How cool is that?? We are going to be the only sisters in the country and I will be with Sister Smith! My companion loves her because they were in the MTC together and she is supposed to be SUPER healthy which makes me extremely happy.

Saying goodbye to everyone on Sunday was really hard. I've really come to LOVE Rennes and the closing song was God Be With you Till We Meet Again.. of course I was bawling like a baby! The mission here has been no cake walk and I think its crazy that I don't want to leave ha! I can only imagine what it will be like at the end!

At the beginning of the week I got to go to Nantes to do an exchange! It was so great! It gave me some needed extra motivation!
We got home way late from the exchange and the next morning we got our MINI MISSIONARY! She is a 20 year old in the ward who is trying to decide whether or not she wants to serve a mission! So she spent 3 whole days with us! We made her a plaque and she had to keep the rules and everything. Things have been slowing down lately and we were really nervous that she would get here and have nothing to do.. so we prayed really hard all week that we'd be able to see miracles... AND WE DID!!
Thursday we had a completely blank day so we went out to do some contacting in the park. We talked to one lady that was really nice but not interested and then we taught the WHOLE rest to a FAMILY in the park, AND they invited us back! We got 3 new amis! It was so so incredible. THEN on top of that miracle, we went out to go porting... knocking doors.. that night. We were amazed at the results. Utterly AMAZED! Only like 3 people automatically said no, we had 3 lessons in one hour of porting and almost everyone at least gave us the time of day to talk to them!!!
AND we found a family! We were just blown away. I don't think our little missionary really understood the miracle she had witnessed. We got 4 new amis in ONE day and like 5 lessons. I said a huge gratitude prayer.

Friday we had a lesson with Loma who is obviously thinking about getting baptized because she asked us if she could be a member and be a communist. She is so cute.
Saturday was another miracle. Again we had nothing planned and so we ported for like an hour or so and nothing was really coming of it. We had about 5 min till we had to catch the bus and Soeur Hilton and I KNEW that there was somewhere in the neighborhood because we knew God was going to show Melanie miracles. So we said a prayer and Melanie didn't believe that we actually could find someone. She kinda joked about following the magic spirit to the right door. So we picked two doors and SURE ENOUGH! The last door we had a lesson and were invited back! We had to BOOK it for the bus but I was so grateful that Heavenly Father didn't let us down. I think Melanie was pretty amazed as was I. I learned a good lesson in using prayer as a way of guidance this week and also obedience.
I'm a tired missionary though. Packing is daunting, Ha I've lived in Rennes longer than anywhere (except wy view for freshman year at BYU) since I was 18. Kinda funny.
Well I'll really miss Soeur Hilton. she was the perfect daughter and I don't want to leave her but I know great experiences are awaiting me!!
Here is my new address:

Well I LOVE YOU ALL AND MISS YOU!!!
